The shipping agencies are responsible for following up on the following tasks and supervising their implementation:A- Notifying the owners of the goods and promptly delivering the delivery permission to them.b- Continuing the unloading process in order to enable the ship to operate day and night at the maximum possible capacity.C- Inventory and follow-up of the goods and their preservation and guard from the start of unloading them until their delivery, either to their owners or to the yards and warehouses of storage.D- The regularity of transporting goods from the berths out of the port or to the yards and warehouses, and their proper arrangement, and working to avoid the accumulation of goods in the warehouses or yards they rent, and notifying the Port Authority or the Customs Office of the neglected goods to quickly dispose of them and announce them for sale.E- Preparing daily reports for the port administration represented by the Shipping and Unloading Department, showing what is being unloaded or loaded for each ship, in addition to clarifying the number and total of work teams and the number of shifts, with the submission of a comprehensive annual report in which performance is reviewed and evaluated.
