Arithmetic & Logic Unit: It is responsible for performing and executing all arithmetic and logical operations inside the computer. Storage devices, in which data and information are stored permanently or temporarily, and are divided into two parts: a. Internal storage: It is storing data inside the computer itself and it is divided into two parts: 1.Permanent internal storage: It is either stored in the hard disk as an electromagnetic image or in the permanent memory ROM in the form of electrical impulses. 2.Internal temporary storage: It is in the temporary memory of RAM, where the computer erases all the contents of the RAM as soon as the power is cut off from the device, where the RAM must be completely empty when the computer starts. b. External Storage: This is by saving data on CDs, DVDs, Flash Drives, or a hard disk by saving outside the computer Hard Disk. Output devices are used to output data from the computer to the user in various forms of data. The output devices are: the screen and called the basic output device Standard Output and used to output data on a visual image, headphones and used to output audio data in an audible form, and the printer used to output data on paper and through which research papers, books, envelopes, envelopes, cards and many types of papers can be printed in different shapes. This chapter will deal with these components in some detail. What is a computer?
