This requires addressing the general problems facing the ports of developing countries that lead to low operating efficiency. The general problem facing the ports of developing countries is the low operational efficiency. Among the most important problems that can arise in the operation of the Port Authority are the following:1- Problems related to the services provided to the ship from entering the port until leaving the port.2- Problems related to the handling of goods from the moment they are unloaded from the ship until they are delivered to customers.3- Problems related to the optimal allocation of labor on the berths of the port or in the warehouses.4- Problems related to storage, selection of appropriate areas inside and outside the port, and determination of the locations of these warehouses.
