The success of this task lies in the collection of all data related to the ship and its cargo and other important data that form part of the berth management system. These indicators can be grouped into four categories:A- Output indicators: they relate to the volume of work performed, such as the movement of goods in the port, the output of the ship, and the output of the work teams.b- Service indicators: They relate to the quality of service provided, such as the period of stay of the ship in the port and the period of stay on the berth in the case of operation and in the case of non-operation.C-Usage indicators: They relate to measures of the degree of intensity of use of the berth facilities and resources, such as the occupancy rate of the berth and the work time of the sidewalk.D- Productivity indicators: they relate to cost-effectiveness measures, such as the cost per ton of goods and the cost of labor per ton of traded goods.
