To sum up, these ports are characterized by their integration with the free and industrial zones in the Al-Dhahir region, with their provision of logistic services, in addition to the provision of distribution centers with the specialization of some of these ports as a global marketing center for certain types of commodities, whether agricultural or industrial. Research and advisory centers that market these services that depend on their experience and trade in operating their ports to the ports of other countries. Not to mention the ability of these ports to attract major international shipping companies to frequent them due to the services they provide that are compatible with their modern operating methods.The UNCTAD developed model of seaport generations is shown in table 1.Table 1.
